    • In the “Format rules” section, under “Format cells if,” select “Custom formula is.”

    • Enter the following formula in the formula box:

      =COUNTIF(A:B,A1)>1
      • A:B refers to the entire range of both columns.
      • A1 refers to the first cell in the selected range.
